This artwork is a close-up portrait of a custom built motorcycle, where craftsmanship and individuality take center stage. The composition focuses tightly on the engine and front end, with the bold, red fuel tank acting as a visual anchor, contrasting with the gritty, textured handling of the engine below.
I used thick, layered strokes to give the piece a tactile quality, almost echoing the physicality of the bike itself. There’s a sense that this machine isn’t just built to be admired - it’s meant to be ridden, heard, and felt.
The bike was displayed at the Bike Shed Show in London. The show is known for celebrating bespoke builds and the culture surrounding them, and this painting reflects that ethos perfectly.
