One of my favourite elements in this piece is the helmet. It’s not just a solid object—it’s alive with reflections. You can see the sky moving across the visor and shell, with clouds breaking up and adding a real sense of environment to the portrait. It pulls the outside world into the piece, like Graham isn’t just sitting still—he’s part of the open air, the ride, the landscape around him. It adds depth and a subtle reminder of what riding is really about.
